Based on Jeremy Collins’ extensive, art-filled travel journals, Eventually a Sequoia is part memoir, part manifesto. Collins, already highly regarded as an artist and climber, was invited to bring his sketchbook on a new kind of adventure: documenting the experiences of those who live along the endangered Amazon River. From there, his art and his curiosity took him to other endangered corners of the world, including the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, the mountains of Nepal, Bears Ears National Monument, and the soaring redwoods of California.

In Jeremy’s words: “Longs story short- If you have seen it and you are a climber, you know the allure of The Diamond. Grand and monolithic, far away from the ice cream, knick-knacks and crowds of downtown Estes Park. I began climbing scrappy roadcuts in the spring of 1993, and it was love at first sight. I wanted to climb EVERYTHING. As soon as I discovered the great north east face of Longs Peak it went to the top of the list. Climbers generally consider The Diamond its own summit. You climb it and you descend, rarely going to the true 14,259 foot top of Longs Peak proper. But, you have to do it at least once. I doubt most people stall seventeen years. Here’s a look at my long distance relationship with the peak and the art I made to celebrate it.”

You asked and we listened. We are excited to announce the first print edition of ‘Comfort Zone’. "On occasion I find doodles in my flat files of the concept of the comfort zone map from years ago. I clearly had been tackling the idea for some time before a final drawing emerged, which in turn was a bit of a comfort zone journey in and of itself. At a risk of over-explaining, the Comfort Zone map is a journey every human being is on, every day of our existence. This piece exists as a reminder that our location within it is fluid and ever changing, but only if we get up and start moving."

This edition is limited to 150 and will be closed thereafter. Landscape is a deep indigo blue and lettering and border is solar gold with a bit of shimmer. Each print is screen printed by hand with care by Ivan and Montana at Modern Multiples Studio in Los Angeles. After printing, they hand tear the paper to give a delicate, raw edge. Please note that these will begin shipping on Dec. 2.

Highly detailed and filled with “easter eggs” of skulls, insects and ephemera, Jeremy notes ‘Raven Crest’ as one of the finest things he’s done with a pen and paper. A ravens lifespan is 25-30 years and are known for their intelligence. In this piece, the raven is collecting phases of the moon and hanging them as ornaments in the tree. It’s a hard one to let go but a honor that one of you will showcase this special work for years to come.

The man, the myth, the legend. He’s elusive, mysterious and is a true desert dweller. This piece is a reflective piece for anyone who has felt at home in his/her/their surroundings.
