Thank you for your interest in Jeremy’s mural work. His 20+ year career as a painter, illustrator and designer provides expert experience working with different materials and surfaces. If you’re working with Jeremy, it’s because you appreciate his attention to detail, his passion for art and his original, linework style. It is his top priority to create an unique piece of art for all his clients that will be loved for years to come.

There’s a lot to consider when booking a mural, so we’ve done our best to outline common topics to help you determine if a Jeremy Collins mural is right for you.

  • Art/Design/Design Process

    • Jeremy has a distinct, refined line work style that becomes the base style of all of his murals. His artistic vision will create a beautiful work of art for you.

    • We like to collaborate. Feel free to send us inspiration images and your ideas.

    • Initial consult is free. This can happen via email or by phone.

    • Depending on the scale of your projects, (3) sketches and/or digital mock-ups can be provided for a $500-$1500, non-refundable fee. This amount will be credited towards the final mural cost when a booking is made.

  • Wall Prep

    • Prep will depend on if the wall is exterior or interior. To help save on cost, we encourage you to do the prep work ahead of time. We can also incorporate this into your estimate if we need to prepare it instead.

    • Exterior brick and concrete will need to be primed and sealed if it hasn’t been done before. Power washing also encouraged to help the longevity of the mural. Allow time for drying.

    • Interior walls need hole and crack patching and final top coat before mural work can start. No one’s walls are perfect. Murals help to hide imperfections. We can help to advise, so just ask.

  • Materials

    • Jeremy’s main painting tool is a Montana-brand acrylic paint marker. This is the best way to translate Jeremy’s paper-based line work into mural work.

    • We source materials based upon the mural location. UV protectant and sealant materials may need to be applied on some exterior walls for an additional fee.

    • Murals that get full sun exposure will fade over time, even if we use protectants. We will do the best we can but touch-ups are a common practice in these cases.

  • Needed Equipment

    • Depending on the mural size and location, rental equipment such as scaffolding, boom lifts and scissor lifts may be required. You can save money by coordinating this ahead of time otherwise this will be reflected in the final cost.

    • For larger scale murals, a painting assistant may be hired.

    • For interior murals, please provide a drop cloth or tarp ahead of time. Move all furniture out of the way before artist arrival. Paint splatter can be a real bummer. The risk will be assumed by you.

  • Pricing

    • Mural prices vary based upon size, level of detail, ease of access, number of colors, and the prep, materials and equipment mentioned above. The average mural can happen within (1-2) days for $3000-$7000 plus travel, misc. fees, but everything can vary. Larger murals increase from here. Let’s discuss what you have in mind.
